Alhamdulillah, we sighted the crescent moon of Sha’ban on Tuesday 20th January 2026. Members of the @newcrescentsociety also sighted the moon up and down the country. We went sighting today as it was the 29th of Rajab according to the local Hijri calendar.

On Tuesday 23rd September 2025, we gathered in Blackheath to sight the Rabi Al Thani moon. It wasn’t visible as it was a young moon and there was a lot of cloud.
